I even had a video to go with it just to show the problem so that people could actually see with their own 2 eyes the problem I was describing. It's a long thread with a lot of replies from a lot of people who were actually kind enough to give a crap and pitch in to try and help, so it might be a boring read. Now before someone reads this and decides they have some simple suggestions as to why it wont work and what we can do to fix this issue, I would stronly encourage you to have a look at the thread I started 2 years ago (yes, its still there, and still unsolved) BEFORE you actually post, since there's a high chance you'll just be repeated something that has already been mentioned. But of course, just more people that have the same issue and no explorable avenues for help. About once every 3 months, I check the forums here in the hopes that maybe, just maybe, someone experiencing the same issue was genius enough to have found a fix and post it here (hence my viewing of this this thread). I (and many others) have tried pretty much tried everything under the sun to get this game to work short of selling my soul to an evil entity of some kind, and still no solution.
I haven't been able to play this game for over 2 years.

I bought this game during the 2011 Steam Xmas sale, got to play it for maybe 2 hours, and then one day, I turned on my PC and went to play the game and it wouldn't start.
